Why Mental Coaching?

From our own experience coaching and training athletes, we have discovered that the focus in sport has shifted from prioritizing the process to achieving the end result. How teams define their own success varies in many different ways as well. Players seem less prepared to face adversity and deal with pressure. They also have difficulty taking risks and overcoming the fear of making mistakes when they compete.

Our program is designed to:

Enhance and build confidence in order to deal with the pressure of competition

Help athletes understand their role and become good teammates

Establish the importance of team culture, leadership and communication

Teach players how to “Control the Controllables” by managing their emotions

Instil an empowered mindset through the use of positive
self-talk

Our Approach

Physical and Mental training are both important to athlete success. However, mental training is our primary focus as it sets the tone for the quality of physical training, creating better results.
